Technology Support

McCarthy Library offers limited supplies of calculators (graphing or scientific), Wi-Fi hotspots, and laptops to loan to currently-enrolled students who are in need of these devices for completing their coursework. Available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Fees associated in the event items are lost.

Financial Support

The Financial Aid Officecan help you pay for college through grants, loans, scholarships, and work study jobs. If you’re having trouble covering costs, apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or, if you’re an AB540-eligible Dreamer, the California Dream Act Application.

Technology Support

California Connects is an affordable internet program by CollegeBuys and T-Mobile. The program provieds access to 4G LTE broadband internet via mobile hotspot. The service is available to all students, faculty, and staff at any California educational institution and supports multiple devices. Monthly subscription is $19.99/month. New users will need to pay  $69.99 to purchase the hotspot.

CollegeBuys offers Adobe products exclusively to students of California Community Colleges (CCC). This special offering is part of our commitment to providing CCC students with access to high-quality resources. 

Everyone On’s Offer Locator Tool can help you find low-cost computers and internet offers in your area. Find new and refurbished desktops for as low as $75 and laptops the cost $120.

Every On's Digital Learning Libraryhas tools and tutorials to help you learn anything from computer and internet basics to managing your financies online.

Financial Wellness

Schoolhouseconnection.org offers tips on understanding the basics of student loans including the differences between different loan types and questions to consider when choosing loans.
